As the Belgian first division K. Sint-Truidense VV announced, Leistner and the club have agreed on cooperation. For the defensive specialist, St. Truiden does not have to pay a transfer fee after his contract had been resolved at the HSV at the Deadline Day on Tuesday.
Leistner is not the first actor at VV St. Truiden with HSV past. Tatsuya Ito played between 2015 and 2019 20 Bundesliga and 14 second ligapary for the Hanseaten. In addition, the current coach Bernd Hollerbach, who had trained HSV in 2018.
Leistner had only come from the Queens Park Rangers to HSV in the summer of 2020 and should provide as a column player next to Klaus Gjasula, Sven Ulreich and Simon Terodde for the HSV back to the Bundesliga. But this project failed. After a new coach came with Tim Walter this summer, the Leistner, who had placed 19 games for HSV in the 2020/21 season, was the second link. The exemption from Leistner took place in the past week, when an alleged chat course with a fan publicly became public, in which the carnival should have accused the association in planness – even though the lender demented to have been the author of the lines.
